This page explains what course statistics are and how to view them.

Each course has it's own set of statistics.

You can view various statistics related to your course, for example:

• How many users have started the course, attempted each exercise, completed the course.
• Heat maps related to how many active users your course has each day.
• Number of exercise answer submissions per weekday and hour.
• Visitors by country
• Most visited pages
• Devices (Device type, Operating System, Browser)

!NOTE: Stats page contents are cached and are updated with a delay, so changes are not immediately reflected in the visualizations.

• Where: In course admin view select the Stats tab.
• Who: Users who have any role assigned to them with the exception of Material Viewer. For example Teacher and Stats Viewer are good roles. Check the Permissions tab in the admin view to make sure the appropriate people have access to the course statistics.
