Install plugin after server has already been played on

Hi I would like to install plan onto a server that has already been played on, would it grab all the existing Information from stat files or would it be blank and slowly fill up with new information?

I checked by reinstalling the plugin onto an existing server with plan already installed and it didnt work, could this maybe be turned into a feature? being able to import stats from the stat files, i know they dont hold everything but it would be better than missing out on all the possible data
