Why time ago when I used commit_parsers skip = true the version in out is null or empty. Now is always the current version.

Will the version output with --bump always return a version? For example, I configured:

{ message = "^doc", group = "Documentation", skip = true },

But the output version returned the current. I remember than weeks ago, the output used to be null or empty.

Could you please help clarify if the version output will always return the current version when skip is true?
