Hey Andriy! 👋 I really like how UmkaBuild CLI makes building Python projects feel intuitive and even a bit fun. I love the idea of saving PyInstaller commands and cleaning old builds automatically — that’s super practical! The project structure is clean, and your focus on simplicity really shines through. One suggestion: the future GUI version sounds exciting! Maybe adding a small screenshot or mockup could help people visualize it better. Overall, amazing work — it feels like a tool that actually makes the terminal enjoyable to use. 🚀 |

Hi friends!
I’ve just finished working on UmkaBuild CLI — an intuitive tool for building files from Python projects.
But it’s more than just a builder — it’s my way of making the terminal feel warm, clear, and inspiring.
🔧 What UmkaBuild can do:
• Build .exe from any .py file
• Add icons, resources, and nested folders
• Save your PyInstaller command for future use
• Check if your project is placed in source_files
• Clean old builds before starting
• Provide helpful prompts, intuitive menus, and a philosophy of simplicity
📦 Project structure:
💡 Why I built it:
Because every developer deserves a tool that not only works — but inspires.
I wanted the build process to be as simple as morning coffee.
And every launch to feel like stepping into your own dev command center.
🧠 Future plans:
• GUI version using PySide
• Auto-scanning for resources
• Support for archives
• Integration with GitHub Releases
