Due to my accidental operation and failure to read the prompt carefully, I deleted the organization I created. Since the organization's domain name will not be available for reuse until 90 days later, is there any faster way to use the same domain name?

Why This Happens
When you delete an organization, GitHub “soft-deletes” it for 90 days. During that time:
• The organization name (and any Pages domain tied to it) is locked.
• You cannot recreate the org or reclaim its Pages URL until the period ends.

What You Can Do

Contact GitHub Support Immediately
• Open a ticket at https://support.github.com/contact, choose “Account recovery,” and explain the accidental deletion and urgency around your custom domain.
• If you’re on a paid plan (Team/Enterprise), mention your billing details—GitHub may expedite restoration.

Request an “Undelete”
• Only GitHub staff can restore a deleted organization during the 90-day window. Provide:
– Org name
– Date of deletion
– Proof of ownership (e.g. billing invoice, last-active logs)

Workarounds While You Wait
• Create a temporary org (e.g. myorg-temp) and push your repo there so your team can continue work.
• Host your site on a repository’s Pages (e.g. username.github.io/myorg) under a different URL.
• If you control the DNS of your custom domain, point it at a placeholder Pages site or external host until restoration.

In summary: There is no self-service way to bypass the 90-day lock. Your fastest path is a support escalation—GitHub staff are the only ones who can undelete the org and free up the name/domain early.
