That's a good point! GitHub likely uses a combination of heuristics and machine learning to detect artificial activity — such as repetitive or scripted commits — especially when done in large volumes. |

In the discussions guidelines I saw that it pointed out
Achievement Hunting
to be bannable.I'm currently working on a project myself, where I wondered what types of technologies or algorithms github use to detect such activities. I'm very new to system administration as I'm just learning along the way. Would be great if anyone knows what any similar detection systems use aswell! Thanks
