Error when creating GitHub issue with issue template

I'm using https://github.com/copilot/ to create GitHub issues for a repository where issue templates are configured and required to create new issues.

The workflow used to work until last week, since this week I'm getting the following error (title: "Select a template", description: "This repository requires all issues to have a template. To create this issue, first select the appropriate template from the template dropdown.").

The repository and issue template for the draft issue are set correctly (I noticed that since this week, the wrong issue Type gets selected though, this used to work correctly before).

I'm unable to create issues with this experience, even when I change the issue template manually.

Creating issues for my repository manually (without using the Copilot experience) works without any issues.

I am seeing this same behavior. Also, when I select my template, it doesn't actually use the content within it; it appears to make up content/sections. (note, my template is in my org's .github repo) Then I have to tell it, within the chat, to use the proper template and give it the URL. Then it uses it.

But even though the template is selected and everything looks good, it will not create the issue... stating that I need to select a template. This was in fact working mid-June (June 18-19 or so) when I was creating issues in the same org/repo using this method.

@cagesellchen I can confirm that I'm not seeing this issue anymore, I tried to reproduce it on two independent repositories.
