Hey Prajjval, Make sure you’ve set up your SSH keys or a Personal Access Token (PAT) correctly in your repository’s secrets. Without proper authentication, GitHub Actions won’t be able to access your repo. Are you using the official actions/checkout action in your workflow? If you’re accessing private repos or need to push changes, you’ll want to provide the token like this:
Also, sometimes it helps to set your Git username and email in the workflow before running dbt especially if commits or pushes are involved like:
Double-check that the GitHub runner actually has permission and network access to reach GitHub. Firewalls or network restrictions can cause connection problems. You can add some debugging commands in your workflow to verify the repository is checked out properly: This will show if your remote URLs are set correctly: Hope this helps you get your dbt and Git connection working smoothly. |
