Subject: Inquiry Regarding Enabling GitHub Sponsors from Nepal

Dear GitHub Support Team,
I am a developer from Nepal and I am interested in using GitHub Sponsors to receive support from the community for my work.

I would like to know the process for enabling GitHub Sponsors from Nepal. Is Nepal currently included among the supported countries for GitHub Sponsors? If yes, what steps should I follow to set it up?

If Nepal is not directly supported, are there any alternative methods through which I can use GitHub Sponsors from Nepal?

Please provide me with detailed information regarding this.

At the moment, GitHub Sponsors is only available in a limited number of countries, and unfortunately, Nepal is not currently on the list of supported regions. You can check the full list here: About GitHub Sponsors – Sponsorship availability.

Right now, GitHub doesn’t offer alternative ways to receive sponsorships if you're located in a region that isn’t supported. We understand this can be frustrating, and we hope to see the program expand to more countries in the future.
