Starting on Oct 11, a consistent decline in Codex quality became noticeable, with reduced reasoning coherence, shallower responses, and loss of context in more complex tasks.
The behavior has been continuous and suggests a possible technical change, perhaps related to adjustments in the inference infrastructure or internal model quantization processes.

I’m sharing this observation to verify whether other users have also noticed this shift and to invite OpenAI to clarify whether any recent modifications could explain this difference in performance.
