How to scroll through the conversation history?

Sometimes an answer from Codex CLI is too long to fit on a screen, so the top section is missing. I have not found a way to scroll up in the terminal though. What is the correct keyboard shortcut to scroll up through the conversation history in Codex CLI?

For the record: Since I still found no answer, we now run Codex always within tmux, which also allows to scroll.

I use iTerm2 and needed to edit the Profile -> Terminal -> check Save lines to scrollback when an app status bar is present.
This fixed it for me.

This does not work on servers ;) to have a sandbox without GUI etc. So its failing where codex works als CLI.

Try bash history_size at server terminal

export HISTSIZE=-1
export HISTFILESIZE=10000
