CSS styles are not applied correctly when clone a module

Currently, when cloning a module (for example, the Buybox module) and loading it into a UAT environment without any modifications, we have noticed that the CSS styles are not applied correctly.
As a workaround, we have tried to extract the CSS styles from the website and load them manually from the site builder, but we feel that this approach is not optimal.
Can you please advise us on the proper process for extending a module to ensure that the styles and functionality are maintained correctly?
What steps should we follow to avoid styling problems when working with cloned modules?
Is it possible to keep the original CSS styles when extending a module, and how is this achieved?
