Local Network Fallback possible?

Hi, i want to avoid going via the internet when trying to stream via the local network. What i tried was putting localreplexip:replexport into Custom server access URLs which worked at least that tautulli recognised the client as LAN and playback was working.

However i encountered the issue that seeking through the video did result in endless buffering. This does not happen if i remove localreplexip:replexport from the custom server access URLs and go via the internet.

So my question is: Is such a local network fallback possible? If yes how?
