Problem compiling latest in the "main" branch.

I updated my local Lem repo and checked that git branch is on master.

When I try to compile Lem with:

sbcl --script build-sdl2.lisp

I get the following error:

How do I resolve the "JSONRPC/CLASS does not exist" issue?

jsonprc version is old.
The library version is managed by qlot.

Thanks. Just dropping in to say this worked for me. Details for anyone reading this thread:

On Debian 12.11:

1. Instructions for installing LEM can be found here: https://lem-project.github.io/installation/ncurses/linux/

2. Make sure you have the prerequisites installed for your distro.

3. You need to have Qlot installed, it uses Quicklisp to manage libraries. If you want to install the latest Qlot, you can uses Fukumachis install script to do a local install: curl -L https://qlot.tech/installer | bash

Note: The bash script tests for where to install the script and if it doesn't have root it will probably default to ~/.qlot/bin.

4. Add path for qlot to your .bashrc or similar: export PATH="/home/user/.qlot/bin:$PATH"

5. Initialize Qlot: qlot init

6. CD to ~/common-lisp and git clone LEM: git clone https://github.com/lem-project/lem.git

7. CD into !/common-lisp/lem dir and build what you need. Some examples:

make sdl2
make ncurses
sdl2-ncurses

Obviously there are many other ways to build LEM, hopefully this helps a few newbs.
