Description
Problem description
#1515 covers the basic data enrichment functionality, however there is also a need for creating functioning integrations to be existing out of the box, which users of Guardian could easily insert into their policies.
Requirements
- Implement integration with the following 3rd party Environmental data providers (listed in the order of priority):
- The integration should support paid access to data where required
- Enable policy authors to add the retrieval and inclusion of such data to the policy workflow directly or using policy modules functionality Linkable policy modules for constructing end-to-end Policy workflows #1657 such as
- the data can be defined as mandatory or optional as defined by the policy author
- 3rd party data get ingested into Policy workflow (or trustchain) as artifacts which are stored and displayed in their native formats, preserving 'mime type' and/or any other indication of the nature of the data as well as their IDs/URLs of the source, time/date, and other identifying information as available
Definition of done
- Integration is implemented as per requirements above
- Documentation is updated accordingly
- Example usages of integration are available in the guardian policy library repo
Acceptance criteria
- It is possible to create a Policy which, upon execution, would produce artefacts (VCs/VPs) which would contain clearly marked (external) 3rd party data in its original format useful for clarifying, detailing or enhancing the information in the VC document.
