No. Archive mode was designed for the camera to be hand out to someone with no idea on how to use the camera, other than to press any button to capture, and again to stop. If you allow the camera to boot, users can interact with the touch screen, this is why Archive mode doesn't support that. |

Hi, I’m experimenting with the *ARCH=1 setting on my HERO13.
What I want:
Lock the camera so the user can only press the shutter button to start/stop recording.
Allow power on/off as normal.
Prevent users from changing mode or settings.
The problem I have:
When I enable *ARCH=1, the camera automatically starts recording immediately on power-up.
I would prefer that it only starts recording when I press the shutter button, not right after boot.
Is there a way to configure ARCH so the camera stays locked (no mode/settings changes), but does not auto-start recording on power-up?
Or is there another Labs trick / combination that can achieve this behavior?
Thanks in advance!
