GoPro13: Short audio dropout using quickcapture

As known, using quickcapture makes the GoPro already capturing while the massage "GoPro Labs Beta Firmware, Partici..." is displayed when the camera starts. An exactly at this moment the sound in the recorded file misses for approximately 40 milliseconds, leading to a distinct crack in the sound.

Important: This issue seems only to occure when voice control is enabled!
Firmware: LABS_HERO13_02_02_72_Aug13

With some labs features activated, the crack is often at around 4 seconds in the file. Very annoying :(

Can anyone reproduce this issue?

I'm not hearing anything wrong, nor has this been reported before. What Labs features do you have activated, maybe one of these if interfering?

What is the reason you haven't switched to the release Labs firmware (2.04.70)?

Oh sorry, somehow I've missed the new firmware. I caught up on that now. But the same problem exists here as well. Lab features only delay the time position of the dropout because this features are displayed at first. If no features are activated the sound dropout is located at 1.6 seconds.
I've generated a sinus tone to capture it with quickcapture (screenshot) to make it more visible. If I deactivate Voicecontrol, this issue is gone again.

Either it's considered normal here for some of the sound to be missing, or, strangely enough, I'm again the only one who has this issue. I don't understand it anymore. It's no fun like this. What a shame.

While can't reproduce it, I do have a clue to the cause. User have complained the voice control turns off in Labs, so Labs resets the voice control when it starts, maybe that is interfering. This will only occur when not recording (QuikCapture) in the next release.

Btw I had the same problem with Voice Control myself and had my own workaround which led to the same sound issue. I used *BOOT="!Lbt"!SAVEbt=v0v1 for fixing Voice Control is off.
And at the exact moment this script was executed, this sound problem occurred with QuickCapture.

Only because of this experience I came up with the idea of ​​deactivating VoiceControl and it helped. Perhaps a similar script is running in the newest firmware?
