GOPRO 12 - commands DIVE and WBLK and hypersmooth settings

Hello,
I use GP12 exclusively for underwater/diving video footage.
I use GP12 with Backscatter Macromate Mini lens (linear mode), Backscatter Gopro sharp wide lens pro (wide mode).
About Hypersmooth (HS) stabilization, I've read about avoiding AUTOBOOST setting and I only use HS=ON.

About DIVE QR code command, does it work fine with GP12 and it's compatible with HS=ON, both for macro and wide video modes? Does the permanent command *DIVE=1 properly applies to all my presets without side effects?

About WBLK command, I would like a specific permanent preset with its preset name: how can I get this capability? What's the right settings?

It work on HERO12. I don't know how well the dive mode work with backscatter lenses, you will have to experiment. Setting *DIVE=1 with globally correct the prescription for water, and improve any video using Hypersmooth, but only Wide settings are recommended.

Name a preset "WBLK" and that feature will be enabled for that preset.

All this can be tested before you next dive.

Hi David...the Dive=1 works great, + stability underwater and the corner distortion now its gone (see video)
Next week i will try to compare with and without AOI UWL-03 lens + Dive=1

Does the preset name "WBLK" work with AUTOCAPTURE mode enabled? If yes, how many seconds are necessary to lock the right WB?

For my understanding, the above said preset name is equivalent to $PRES="0,WBLK" ? I found this command with 0 instead of 1 to ensble WB locking. Whats the right setting?

Metadata has both settings, fixed kelvin and WBLK. It's a bit difficult confirm which of them GP12 applies

Foes DIVE command as permanent setting apply both video and photo mode?
I applied only for video mode while in photo mode I get the corners with wide angle lens.

That is a bug. Use DIVE as a preset to avoid this.

DIVE for video only preset, there is no need to apply a hypersmooth stabilization correction for photos.
