To set a limit on how slow your shutter can go, use the command EXPX (https://gopro.github.io/labs/control/extensions/). 1/120 or 1/240 is usually fast enough to avoid any motion blur, but it entirely depends on the movement of the camera/scene. Experiment to see what works for you. To set this up, enter the command oMEXPX=120 into the QR generator on the page I linked, (or !MEXPX=120 to make the setting permanent). Then just scan the code with your GoPro. That command will prevent your shutter speed from going slower than 1/120. |

Hi, I'm having a problem with motion blur. I have a GoPro Hero 10, and when I go mountain biking in the woods, the video footage is terrible and the images are blurry. The undergrowth is dark even in broad daylight, and the shutter speed is slow. I want to make sure the shutter speed is fast and uses all the ISO settings to its fullest, so I no longer have the motion blur effect. I solved the problem years ago, but recently I had to reset my GoPro, and the motion blur has returned. I don't remember what modification I made, but now I'd like to know if GoPro Labs can fix the problem, perhaps by installing a mod to fix it. I can't quite understand what's in the GoPro Labs configuration pages because it's all in English, and I don't speak English. I tried using translators, but I can't find a solution, not even in GoPro Labs. I'm currently using very fast shutter speeds (e.g., 1/400), but the exposure is poor, and I can't walk around the woods with a light meter in my hand. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Grazie.
