My goal there if possible is to at least auto complete based on partially named choices as auto complete does. Absent that, then if we can provide some sort of combo or drop down set of choices, that will work as well. Wondering what my options are, pardoning the pun. |

Of course then the other side of that issue is, in the case of the choices, what do we receive as arguments to the slash command handling? For the numeric range, that seems obvious, the value. But for the choices, will that be an index? Or the choice value itself? |

Another thing I am noticing, the overwrite does not seem to be overwriting anything. The PREVIOUS version of the commands are STILL there and the new set ARE NOT. Do I need to wait longer for the operation to actually complete, perhaps? |

Ah 💡 now I see, is ALSO necessary to sometimes refresh local client caching. I see in the server integrations, the commands ARE propogating. After refreshing the client, then I get the correct commands, INCLUDING the choices. NOICE! 👍👍👍 |

I have slash commands sort of working. My registered commands are appearing in the list, and I even have the options being identified. I'm assuming I can do something like
myoption 'colon'literally typing that up, and that is like sayingname: valuepairing. In the case where I have some options enumerated, what then, I am getting a sad bot face and "loading options failed". Is it a callback or something that I need to further somehow implement in the client service side code? If so what's the poing of actually enumeratingAddOptionand so forth, I'm not quite sure. So far so good I even get this far, however 👍 .Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
