Can't uninstall Keka at all

Hello everyone,

I'm having a bit of a headache with this issue. I'm trying to uninstall Keka as I don't need the app anymore but both dragging it to the bin and folling the wiki tutorial to uninstall it didn't work. When following the wiki tutorial I keep having this message showing up : "override rw-r--r-- root/wheel compressed for /Applications/Keka.app/Contents/_CodeSignature/CodeResources?".

I must admit that while I'm not the most tech savy person, I find my way from time to time thanks to you wonderful people of the internet, but today it seems that I'm hitting a wall. Is there a way to solve this?

You can right click on Keka in the Applications folder and send it to the trash. You might need to give your password in case you've installed it using the App Store.

Hello thanks for answering this quickly. That’s what I did but when I try to remove it from the trash an error message pops up

I restarted it but the issue is the same.

Do you have Finder Extension enabled? Uncheck the “Keka Finder Intergration” checkbox under System Preferences -> Extensions -> Finder Extension.

FInder Extension is disabled and Keka Finder Integration is unchecked. I'm still not able to delete it from the bin

An error when you empty trash bin? What is the error message exactly?

Or is the error only from the supplementary and optional uninstall (settings removal) steps from the Wiki?

It's an error popping up when I try to delete Keka from the bin. Here's the screenshot and its translation (unfortunately I am French, French Caribbean but French nonetheless) : "Unable to carry out the operation, as some elements must have been skipped. For each item, choose File >
Read information, make sure “Locked” is not selected, then check the Sharing and permissions section.
Once you've checked that the items are not locked, read-only or restricted, try again."

I've checked for locked, read-only and restricted items but even after that, it's impossible to delete it.

A little update : Did the new software update and it fixed everything. Keka and its fiels were sleeping in the bin, and has now disappeared. Thank you @aonez and @gingerbeardman for your help !
