Is Brand Registration Required for Developers to Obtain a Brand Role if Using SPP

If I am using SPP (Service Provider Program), will my developer account need to register a brand in order to obtain a Brand Role? Or is there an alternative way for developers to gain Brand Role permissions without direct brand registration?

I want to ensure that I set up everything correctly according to Amazon’s policies.

You do not need to register a brand to obtain a brand role. You can find roles available and their description in this documentation page.

Note that after your profile is submitted, Amazon evaluates the information provided and approves or denies your request. If denied, you can address the reason for the denial and then resubmit your profile.
