An incomplete collection of Flakes issues blocking the stabilization process for Flakes.

Note:

  • Flakes stabilization has not been a priority for the Nix team, whose focus has been on contributors (and to a degree guiding them to make the right contributions).
  • RFC 136 asks of the Nix team to prioritize CLI stabilization before Flakes stabilization. This is why its tracking issue is included in the Flakes milestone.

As of yet, we are largely dependent on contributions, so this milestone does not have a due date, or any timeline.

This milestone is currently meant to collect and inform and is not meant to convey any planning or scope. We recognize that this is the bare minimum we can do, and we hope that you understand, and perhaps you want to contribute.

Note also that this list is highly incomplete as of yet. Work in progress.
