Cannot insert new line in Copilot Chat

• Selected model (e.g. GPT 4.1, Claude 3.7 Sonnet): Irrelavent
• Logs: Irrelavent

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Copilot Chat Panel
2. Type anything, e.g., a, then press Shift+Enter

Nothing happens. No line break is added.

I do not find a key binding that seems to be related to this.

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.102.3. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.
