OnePlus Home Gestures

I just purchased a OnePlus 12, but am having trouble wanting to keep it due to the delay in returning home on third party launchers with gesture animations.

I am rooted and have the quick switch module installed and seemingly working, but the home gesture still takes 2-3 seconds of sitting there to display my homescreen.

Any ideas on fixing this or something I'm missing with quick switch?
