Eigenfocus has evolved a lot in the last weeks and here is the summary of the main changes in our FREE Edition for you to explore!

Finishing an issue

• Mark an issue as finished by checking in a board card or on the issue detail
• See when an issue was finished inside the issue detail
• Filter issues by finished state using the list view

Global issue URL

• Added a "Global ID" button at the top of the issue detail. You can click on it to copy the issue link
• Use this link to share with someone or to reference it in another issue description

Temporarily storing issue description
Have you ever started writing something and just closed the issue without saving it? Well... now your draft is preserved.

We're temporarily storing the changes in your browser and showing a warning when you have unsaved changes.

We're proud to announce Version 1 of Eigenfocus. This release completes the trinity of Eigenfocus's pillars: focus.

A distraction-free environment to stay focused with:

• Immersive Ambient Sounds – Customize your workspace with relaxing sounds.
• Timers / Alarms – Structure your work sessions with built-in timers. Use it for Pomodoro sessions, breaks, remember to drink water or stretch (he have cool alarms sounds too).

Improvements on project and issues management

• Project and issue archive and removal – Keep your workspace clean and organized.
• Project Templates – Get started faster with our collection of project templates.
• New Markdown Editor – Easier to write your texts and allows us to implement more advanced features in the future.
• Time Entry CSV Export – Easily track and share your work hours.

Migration steps

Only for 0.7.0 or older

If you're coming from a version older than 0.7.0 you first need run our latest 0.9.0 in order to migrate some database files and then upgrade to 1.0.0.

For alpha testers

If you're using from a previous alpha/testing release, today we're adding features for a better experience using Boards and Tracking Time. The overalll experience should be good for you to use Eigenfocus on a daily basis.

• Issues (Board Cards) accepts multiple file uploads with preview for images
• Auto saving when editing Issue title
• Improvements on card drag/drop between columns
• You can inline create a new card/issue on boards so you can quickly add many cards
• Showing informative icons on cards (if has any description of files)
• Better UX for navigating between time tracking and boards
• Create a new issue with a keyboard shortcut
• Listing projects boards on sidebar menu
