Handling unique galleries with identical names

when there are distinct galleries with identical names, it seems that LANraragi treats them as identical even if the contents are unique. Can LANraragi handle this case without overwriting the existing gallery?

If they're in different subfolders of the content folder, I believe you'll be able to have both simultaneously, as the ID system will be used for uniqueness.

Now, that doesn't work with the web uploader since that just puts all the incoming files at the content folder root, so you'll have to add them in manually.

I see, thank you for answering. Currently Tsukihi sometimes has trouble distinguishing between identically named galleries with different content. Roughly brainstorming here, but for example would it be viable for the application/extension to rename the archive and append a unique ID to the filename? I imagine for sources like EH and Chaika that would be the gallery id from the URL

I'm not too familiar with the LRR/Tsukihi codebase but I am willing to learn and contribute if you are interested in implementing something like this

Ah, sorry for the ghosting! I meant to reply last time and completely forgot...

I think the URL downloader could just check if there's an existing file with the same name at the content folder root, and just append a (1) or similar (you do need to account for multiple subsequent same names with this solution, so maybe "filename*" or something would be better) if the archive IDs turn out to be different between both files.
