Anyone have "specialized" needs for nodes in a cluster?

The AKS Team is looking to engage with customers that may have specialized needs for nodes running in their managed clusters. These needs may include things like:

• Node location (e.g. edge node, with managed cluster in the cloud)
• CPU/GPU or other specialized hardware requirements not readily available in Azure
• Low latency connections with on-prem or edge dependencies (co-located nodes)
• Scenarios where the node may have intermittent connectivity
• Custom node OS images, etc.

Or any other requirements that are not currently supported for nodes running in Azure.

We want to get a better understanding of these requirements and how AKS can provide support for these scenarios. If you have any of these needs or work with customers that do, please shoot me an email: bmoore @ [microsoft] and let me know if we can arrange a conversation to discuss in more detail.
